Visit of DG Pam Rawbone to RC Constantia 23 September 2025

Oct 17, 2025 | News

It was fitting that during September, the month during which Rotary focuses on Basic Education and Literacy, our District Governor, Pamella Rawbone, visited the Rotary Club of Constantia. Together with Club members and Assistant Governor Marge Upfold, we spent the day visiting several nearby project sites.

We visited Westlake Primary School, where the beautifully repurposed Grade R classroom and the well-loved artificial grass sports field reminded us of the lasting impact of the Club’s support.

At Little Squirrels Daycare Centre, it was wonderful to see the children thriving in their care environment, now even safer with the newly installed security gate.

Finally, at Westlake United Church Trust, the new library and renovated kitchen highlighted how sustained partnerships continue to empower and enrich the community.

These highlights only give a glimpse of the day – read the following articles for a closer look at each visit and the amazing work happening at these projects.
