The Rotary Club of Constantia supported Westlake Primary School by constructing a multipurpose sports field, officially handed over in March 2022. This R1.3 million project includes facilities for netball and soccer, offering much-needed recreational space for the students. Previously, the community lacked such amenities. Since its completion, the field has benefitted around 700 students, helping them develop physical skills while also fostering teamwork, confidence, and resilience. Moreover, the project seeks to benefit the broader Westlake community by addressing social issues like poverty and crime through the unifying power of sports.
