Duck Race

The Rotary Club of Constantia’s Duck Race fundraiser for 2024 featured a fun and competitive duck race in which people sponsored rubber ducks for R100 to race down a waterway. Individuals were also allowed to donate prizes in support of the community event. The funds raised from this event went to various local and international charitable initiatives supported by the Rotary Club. In past years, the event was a huge success, with funds benefitting animal shelters and community projects. Events like this exemplify the Rotary Club’s core principles of service, fellowship, diversity, ethics, and leadership. They afford Rotary Club members a chance to put these principles into practice while also spreading awareness of the work they do and significant concerns. Rotary Club aspires to educate, please, and serve the public while also gaining continual support for its projects.
